By Canton CitizenBeverly A. Studebaker (Sacco), lifelong resident of Canton, passed away peacefully with her husband at her side on October 13 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston after a sudden and rare illness.
Born to Beatrice Sacco Draper of Canton and the late Arthur J. Sacco, she met and married her best friend, her husband Charles R. Studebaker, Sr., and they have been together for more than 60 years. While raising her family, she went on to earn her BS in mathematics from Bridgewater State, which allowed her to follow her dreams and become a high school teacher. Beverly became a lifelong member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary and was also a VAVS representative. Bev and Charlie made it their life’s goal to help veterans’ causes by donating their time at numerous events. She worked her way through the ranks and became Massachusetts Ladies Auxiliary State president and then was elected as national chaplain …
