Rocha, Kristin G.

Kristin Grace Rocha (Petrie), 47, passed away January 3 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Kristin was born in New York City and raised in Manhasset, NY, where she attended St. Mary’s through high school. She received her bachelor’s degree and master’s in education from Fordham University. Always passionate about children and teaching, she began her career working as a kindergarten teacher at P.S. 326 in the New York City public school district. In 2006, Kristin married Corey Rocha and relocated, finding a new home and teaching community in Westwood. Kristin was an avid reader, loved reminiscing and laughing about stories from the past, and cherished being with family and friends …
