Cox, Charles “Spencer”
By Canton CitizenCharles “Spencer” Cox III, 20, of Canton, passed peacefully March 9, 2018, losing his battle with brain cancer.
An avid skier, traveler and entrepreneur, he studied at Champlain College where he played rugby. His recent travels took him to over 17 countries, most recently scuba diving off the coast of Egypt. People were drawn to his natural charm and humor. His spirit impressed all those who met him. He will be sorely missed by all.
Loving son of Hilary J. Blocker and the late Charles S. Cox Jr. of Canton. Loving brother of Austin H. Cox and Isabella B. Cox of Canton. Loving grandson of Charles S. Cox Sr. and the late Edith Cox of Norwell and Wilma Blocker of CA. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend, Alana Manghis, of Nantucket. Devoted nephew to Elizabeth and Robert Ryan of Canton, Lori-Anne and John Valianti of Marshfield, Julianna and Alan Hale of Atkinson, NH, as well as many cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Services were held Monday in the Ahavath Torah Congregation in Stoughton. Interment Sharon Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Spencer’s memory may be made to Youth Enrichment Services, 412 Massachusetts Ave., Boston, MA 02118. The Pushard Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
