Luce Super Spelling Stars share a laugh: (not in order) 4th graders Andrew Gillis, Isabelle Barron, Luca Burns, Andrew Elkhoury, Amirah Malcom and Bharat Ramanathan.
The Canton Alliance for Public Education (CAPE) held its annual Spelling Bee on Friday, March 23, in the CHS auditorium. The event featured competitions for students at various grade levels as well as an adult competition. Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Fischer-Mueller served as the moderator for the student teams while Selectman Kevin Feeney was the moderator for the adult teams. Proceeds from the bee are used to fund CAPE grants, which are awarded each year to support innovative and enriching programs in the Canton Public Schools.
