Beloved wife of Christopher M. Carten. Dear mother of Ellie and Christopher Carten of Canton. Beloved daughter of the late John and Rita Delaney. Adored sister of Nancy and Chuck Artesani of West Roxbury, Ellen and Jim Fitzpatrick of Hanover, Barbara and Tom Archibald of Rye, NH, Mary and Lenny Tierney of Reading, Joanne Delaney of Easton, Jack Delaney of Dublin, CA, Peter and Peggy Delaney of Warren, VT, Steven and Barbara Moreau of Marshfield, Linda and Blaine Carroll of Acton, and Mike and Anne Moreau of Stratham, NH.
Much loved sister-in-law of Tom and Kathy Carten of Milton, Mary and Shawn Driscoll of Milton, Theresa Grogan of Canton, Claire and John Lawton of Milton, and Madeline and Peter Cahill of Dorchester. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Cherished friend to many she met from childhood and beyond.
Karen’s love for her husband, Chris, and her children Ellie and Chris was paramount. Karen had a natural gift for nurturing relationships within her large families and extensive circle of friends. She was a dedicated, longtime employee of Brigham and Women’s of Foxboro and Boston.
A funeral mass was held Saturday in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
