By Canton CitizenSusan Carnes of Boston, formerly of Canton, passed away peacefully on January 1 surrounded by her family.
Susan is the beloved daughter of the late William M. Carnes and Ann McCallion Carnes of Canton. Sue is the sister of Mary Keable and her husband, Michael, of Oakland, RI, Bill Carnes and his wife, Nancy, of Hopkinton, and Jack Carnes and his wife, Angela, of Burlington. Susan is the cherished aunt of Sean, Lauren and Matthew Carnes, Jacquelyn, Catherine and Michael Keable, and Sarah and Kevin Carnes. Susan is also survived by her aunt Rosemary McCallion Cronin of Billerica and her uncle John McCallion and aunt Susan McCallion of Clifton Park, NY, along with many cousins.
Susan enjoyed spending her summers with her family at their beach home in Manomet. A graduate of Canton High School and Northeastern University, she was an oncology business director for Incyte Corporation for the past year. Prior to that, she served as a senior territory business manager for Incyte for seven years.
A funeral service was held Monday, January 7, at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, followed by a private burial.
