Davis, Richard B.

Richard B. Davis, 85, of Canton, formerly of Fort Myers, FL, and Melrose, died peacefully at home January 9, 2019.

Richard had a distinguished career at Bay State Gas for over 40 years. He retired and moved to Florida in 1994.

Richard was a devoted husband to the late Janet (Wadland) Davis. Loving father of Debra L. Patterson and her husband, Michael, of Cape Coral, FL, Donna J. Miller of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Darcy E. O’Brien and her husband, Bartholomew, of Canton. Proud grandfather of Matthew and Christopher Patterson, Steven and Jeffrey Miller, Emily O’Brien-Moss and her husband, Christian, and Bartholomew and Kelly O’Brien; and proud great-grandfather to Greyson Moss. He is also survived by a brother, Clifton Davis of Bangor, ME, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours were held Monday in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street. Interment private. Donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
