The town of Canton paid tribute to America’s fallen heroes at its annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony held on Monday, May 27. Participants included the Police and Fire departments, local veterans, town officials, American Legion and CHS bands, Canton Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, and this year’s parade grand marshal, 99-year-old World War II veteran Tony Pavidis. See this week’s Citizen for more photos and a full recap of the ceremony.
