CHS All-Night Grad Party a community effort
By Canton CitizenDear Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who were involved in making the Canton High School All Night Graduation Party a success. Not only did we have a core group of dedicated parents and school administrators who structured the party, but we received tremendous support from so many in the community. We are fortunate to live in a town that recognizes the importance of making this a safe evening.
The All Night Graduation Party is a free, lock-in style event that runs from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. We provide a safe, substance-free evening for our graduating seniors and give them one last opportunity to share an unforgettable event before life leads them in many different directions. There was food throughout the evening, scheduled entertainment with magician Chris Herrick, hypnotist Brian Eslick, pictures by BTTR Photo Booths, Its2Cool attractions, signage by MakePeace, Inc., Black Jack and Bingo tournaments, raffle drawings and DJ Magic Mic/Jammin Wizard who kept the crowd singing and dancing until the sun rose.
I want to thank our families who supported our Board Night, Canton Women Who Care, April Showers, and Roche Bros. events, as well as many private donations. I also cannot thank enough all of the local businesses who donated to this worthwhile occasion in support of keeping our kids safe … please consider supporting their businesses as well.
