Chillin with the Chief

The Canton Police Department and the Canton Alliance Against Substance Abuse (CAASA) hosted a free summer barbecue last Friday evening at CPD headquarters. Guests enjoyed hot dogs and hamburgers, a touch-a-truck with police and SWAT vehicles, and visits from new CPD K-9 Dunkin’ and new CPD horse Bruno. The Boston Red Sox World Series trophy was also on display inside the station for visitors to admire. Designated as a drug- and alcohol-free event, the party was well attended and the perfect kickoff to what the CPD and CAASA hope is a safe and fun summer season.
