Neponset River Regional Chamber to celebrate 125 years
By Canton CitizenThe Neponset River Regional Chamber will commemorate 125 years of service to the region’s businesses and communities on Thursday, September 19, with a special celebration event. The event will take place at the newly refurbished Paul Revere Heritage Site in Canton from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The event is open to all business and community leaders from the region and will highlight several milestones of the chamber’s history and feature visual displays and a video produced by students at Blue Hills Regional Technical School. In addition, entertainment will be provided by local high school students.
A delicious menu of heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served by Northern Spy restaurant, which will soon be opening at the Revere Heritage Site. A cash bar will be available.
“We are extremely excited to be the first event to occur at such a historic location as the Paul Revere Site,” said Chamber President Tom O’Rourke. “It is one of the oldest industrial sites in the region and was powered by the Neponset River, making it that much more appropriate for this celebration.”
Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased at www.nrrchamber.com or by calling 781-769-1126.
