Donald Edward “Don” Rodman, 88, of Canton, passed away on August 27, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family.

An accomplished businessman and philanthropist, he was the founder of Rodman Ford in Foxboro and Rodman for Kids, an umbrella matching gift charity that benefits at-risk children across Massachusetts.

Don was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marilyn; his parents, Annette Johnson and Elmer “Pop” Johnson; and brother Gerry Rodman and his wife, Katherine Anne.

He is survived by his five sons: Gene Rodman of Braintree, Curtis Rodman (Marsha) of Canton, Craig Rodman (Liz) of Natick, Brett Rodman (Tricia) of Canton, and Bart Rodman of Braintree; nine grandchildren, Sheryl Wagner (Michael), Rachael MacDonald (Tommy), Jayne Imbergamo (Marco), Michael Rodman (Zoe), Molly Rodman, Gene Millen Rodman, Jordan Rodman, Alexis Rodman and Olivia Rodman; and four great-grandchildren, Curtis and Clayton Wagner, and Leo and Ruby Imbergamo.

Also survived by nephew Scott Rodman of Foxboro and his longtime companion, Tina Biedronski, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, at 10 a.m. at B’nai Tikvah, 1301 Washington Street in Canton. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery. Shiva from 1-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Rodman for Kids, 10 Lincoln Rd., Foxboro, MA 02035, www.rodmanforkids.org. Arrangements by the Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street.
