Murphy, Francis S.

Francis Stephen “Franky” Murphy, 48, of Canton, formerly of Stoughton and Brockton, died October 29, 2019.

Franky was a self-employed guitar instructor. He was an avid musician, playing in various bands, “Triphammer” and “Every Second” to name a couple.

Beloved son of Judith A. Murphy (McCarron) and the late Francis A. Murphy. Father of Francis and Randi Hottinger. Loving brother of Kimberly A. Murphy of Canton, Jennifer L. Curtis of Canton, and Joseph M. Murphy of Plymouth. Loving companion of Erin Rolfe. Franky is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and beloved band members.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday morning in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment private. Donations can be made in Franky’s honor to rawkstars.org or musicdrivesus.org. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, www.roache-pushard.com.
