Staiti, Michael C.

Michael C. Staiti, 79, of St. Augustine, Florida passed away after a long illness November 25.

Michael was raised in Canton and was a 1958 graduate of Canton High School. Michael was a veteran of the United States Navy. Upon his discharge from service he was employed at Garland Knitting Mills in Brockton as a computer programmer for many years. Mike was a licensed real estate broker and worked for Audrey Fields Real Estate in Canton. He also worked for a short time at TEAL Inc. in Springfield.

Mike was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed sports. A member of the Canton High School Alumni Association, Michael was also a Past Master Mason of the Grand Lodge of Masons of Blue Hills Lodge.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Albert F. and Frances R. Staiti of Canton, as well as his sister, Joanne B. Hay.

Beloved husband for many years to his devoted wife, Toni Marie (Forte), of St. Augustine, Florida (formerly Canton). Michael is survived by his sons Jason, Adam and Mathew, and his brothers Albert J. Staiti of Florida (formerly Canton) as well as former selectman and current Town Moderator Richard R. Staiti of Canton. Michael leaves several nephews and nieces as well.
