Canton U18 team captures state hockey title

Congratulations to the Canton Bulldogs U18 boys ice hockey team, who captured the Tier III Massachusetts State Championship during the weekend of November 15-17. After falling to Waltham 2-1 in the first game of pool play, the Bulldogs responded with four straight victories — culminating with a 1-0 win over Waltham in the tournament finals. The team was led by coach Tommy Jenkins and included players Michael Anderson, Sam Carlino, Jeff Chaput, Billy Delello, Jack Digirolamo, Gus Dudley, Carson Eagles, Aiden French, Eddie Gillis, Griffin Hughes, Jack Lauro, Michael Leonetti, Vinny O’Brien, Tommy Phaneuf, Michael Spinelli, Zack Stamatos, AJ Thomas, Chris Turano and Andrew Valkanas.
