Willette, Roberta C.

Roberta C. Willette, 92, of Canton, passed away January 12 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Norwood, she attended Norwood High School and Peabody School for the Culinary Arts. She worked as a food manager for Talbots Department Stores and Proctor and Gamble for many years before retiring. She had also previously worked as a hostess for Anthony’s Pier 4 in Boston and Lou’s 139 in Marshfield. She enjoyed oil painting, scrimshaw, needlepoint, ballroom dancing, and making wedding cakes.

Mother of Edward F. Carreiro and his wife, Karla, of FL, Stephen E. Carreiro and his wife, Dottie, of FL, Thomas A. Carreiro and his fiancée, Jodie, of TN, Cheryl A. Carreiro of Canton, Alfred J. Carreiro and his wife, Elizabeth, of Canton, and the late Charles P. Carreiro and his wife, Sheila, of ME and the late James F. Carreiro and his wife, Linda, of Wareham. Sister of Charles Willette of FL and the late Jeannette Loder and Robert and James Willette. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
