Caddigan, Donald J.
By Canton CitizenDonald J. Caddigan, 69, of Brockton, formerly of Canton, passed away January 24 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury.
Born in Brockton, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School, Class of 1968. He went on to attend Northeastern University in Boston and Villanova University in Philadelphia. He went on to serve in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era on the USS Midway.
He worked for many years for Riley Stoker in Worcester and supervised the construction of power plants in Long Island, NY, and Terre Haute, IN. He was also previously partners with George Stencel with a commercial roofing company, Membrane Concepts in Brockton. Don enjoyed vacationing in Maine, fishing, listening to music, and was an avid watch collector.
Beloved son of Phyllis Viola (Russell) of Brockton. Brother of Robert Caddigan and his wife, Catherine, of Randolph and Dennis Caddigan and his wife, Robin, of Golden, CO. Longtime loving companion of Ginger Molignano of Stoughton. Uncle of Spencer, Connor, April and Nicholas Caddigan. Nephew of Don Russell of Bellingham. Also survived by many cousins and his extended Molignano and Govatsos families.
Relatives and friends invited to attend a memorial service at the Congregational Church of Canton, 1541 Washington Street, on Saturday, February 15, at 10 a.m. Burial private.
