Cassio, Charles A.

Charles Anthony Cassio, 78, of Canton, passed away April 5 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury.

Born in Boston, he was raised in Roxbury and graduated from Jamaica Plain High School. Charlie served as a medic in the United States Army and worked as a truck driver for Anheuser Busch for many years before retiring. He was an avid golfer and played at Rockland Golf Course. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a longtime friend of Bill W.

Beloved husband of Linda A. (Sarro). Father of Michael Cassio of Portland, ME, and Deana Cassio-Calderon of Canton. Grandfather of Orlando and Amaya Calderon, both of Canton, and Timothy and Marc Cassio, both of Jamaica Plain. Brother of the late Edward Cassio, John Cassio and Marilyn Lewis.
