Town Election 2020: Early Voting by Mail
By Canton CitizenIn response to the State of Emergency and concerns about COVID-19, the Canton Board of Selectmen voted on March 31 to postpone the annual town election from April 7, 2020 to June 16, 2020. The postponement was made possible by an act of the state legislature that was signed into law by Governor Charlie Baker.
Under the provisions of this act, any registered voter may vote early by mail, provided that the ballot is received by the town clerk’s office before the close of polls on election day.
