Lopez wins recount

Newly elected Select Board member Lisa Lopez was reaffirmed as the winner over incumbent Tom Theodore following a full recount of ballots conducted last Thursday, July 16. Lopez began the day with a seven-vote lead and went on to win by six votes, 2,248 to 2,242. The recount was held in the Canton High School cafeteria with strict social distancing and precautionary measures in place to protect against COVID-19 infection.
