Bucci, Ruth E.

Ruth E. Bucci (Sproul), 96, of Canton, passed away July 30 at the Copley at Stoughton.

Born and raised in Cherryfield, ME, she attended Harrington High School and Quincy Hospital School of Nursing.  She has lived in Canton since 1960 where she was a member of the Canton Catholic Women’s Club and a parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church. Ruth worked at Marshall’s Department Store in Canton before retiring.

Beloved wife of the late George Bucci. She was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. For guestbook, see dockrayandthomasfuneralhome.com.
