Berardi, Francis J.
By Canton CitizenFrancis J. Berardi, 91, an Army veteran, a loving father, granddad, and lifelong resident of Canton, died on January 17, 2021.
He was a lifelong resident of Canton and a proud veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army in Special Forces from 1951-1953 who bravely fought and survived the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. After the war, Frankie came home to Canton and started his own business known as Frank’s Landscaping Company after graduating from UMass with an arborist and horticultural degree. He lived his life with meaning and passion, loving and helping people.
Son of the late Candido and Mary Berardi. Loving father of Julia M. Berardi-Fallon and husband, James Fallon, of Foxboro, and son Frank J. Berardi, Jr. of Westerly, RI. Loving brother of the late Daniel J. Berardi, Sr., Gino Berardi of Canton, Gilda Colp of TN, Joseph Berardi of Canton, Ann Kirk of AZ, Edward Berardi of Canton, and the late Richard and Robert Berardi. He was the devoted grandfather of Matthew and Kaitlyn and was predeceased by a grandson, Kirk. Also survived by two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends invited to attend a graveside service at Canton Corner Cemetery Veterans Walk of Honor Section, Saturday at 12 noon.
