Robinson, Henry F.
By Canton CitizenHenry F. Robinson of Canton passed away January 26 at South Shore Hospital.
Born and raised in Dorchester, he graduated from Dorchester High School and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was an electrician and member of the IBEW Local 103 for many years before retiring in 1987. Henry has lived in Canton for 65 years where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2095 and was also a ham radio operator and a member of the American Radio Relay League. He also enjoyed spending the last 25 winters at his home in Lakeland, FL.
Beloved husband of Loretta R. (Tait). Father of Kenneth E. Robinson of Long Island, NY, and Paula J. Cameron of Canton. Brother of the late Phyllis M. Kazanjian. Grandfather of Valerie J. Cameron, Kenneth E. Robinson, Joseph Robinson, Kristin McGinley, Jennifer Deacon, Kelly Kelly, and the late Andrew S. Cameron and James T. Robinson. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Due to the current COVID-19 guidelines, only 10 guests will be permitted within the funeral home at a time, masks are required and guests should bring their own pens to sign the register book.
