American Legion Riders continue fundraising with Month of Raffles
By Canton CitizenThe American Legion Post 24 Riders want to thank everyone for their support with their recent fundraising raffles.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the Riders have been able to provide continued support to the Canton Honor Guard as well as other individual activities, such as the Liliana Iavarone Birthday Wish. Iavarone, a third grader from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, chose to give back to veterans in lieu of receiving birthday presents, and her mother is continuing the effort beyond her birthday. (If you wish to help, contact any of the Riders.)
Continuing in the spirit of giving, the Legion Riders are pleased to announce their latest fundraiser — a calendar raffle for the month of April 2021. There will be prizes awarded every day throughout the month, ranging in value from $80 to $600, for a total value of $4,800.
Once a ticket is pulled as a winner it will be removed from any future drawings. Those who purchase multiple tickets will still have a chance to win additional raffle prizes. You must be 21 to pick up a raffle prize containing alcohol.
A complete list of raffle prizes can be found at cantonalr24.com/month-of-raffles. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at the American Legion Post 24 or from any of the Post 24 Legion Riders.
The Legion Riders hope you enjoy this fundraiser, and the veterans thank you so much for your support.
