Vote Reuki Schutt for Select Board

Dear Editor:

I urge Canton residents to cast your Select Board vote for Reuki Schutt on April 6.

I met Reuki almost 20 years ago, when she was president of the Hansen CAPT. She led the Hansen CAPT with passion, dedication, intellect and energy. Since then, everything that Reuki has done for the Canton community has been led similarly.

Canton was lucky to see Reuki’s 16 years of commitment to our children as a member of the School Committee. The Finance Committee now benefits from her expertise in working on our complicated town budget. The Canton Food Pantry prospered under Reuki’s directorship as did the Blue Hills Civic Association under her presidency.

Reuki’s civic experience makes her definitively qualified to represent our town’s Select Board. But let’s also think about what she will do for you:

* Your voice and opinions will not only be heard, but will be truly listened to and given strong consideration.

* You will be able to engage in open and honest conversations about your concerns and Canton’s successes.

* You will be encouraged to participate in the analysis and solutions.

* You will become part of the governing process, as a vocal citizen of Canton.

* You will understand firsthand why Reuki’s fresh perspective will be a strong value to the Canton Select Board.

Please cast your vote for Reuki Schutt, Select Board, on April 6.
