The staggering human cost of the COVID-19 pandemic, its many unsung heroes, and the countless acts of kindness that helped sustain the community during its darkest days all came into sharp focus during a poignant and well-attended remembrance event held last week on the front lawn of the Armando Recreation Center.

The ceremony included a moment of reflection for the 85 Canton lives lost, as well as musical performances, a poetry reading, and remarks by town leaders. See this week’s Citizen for a full recap of the program and additional photos.
