BOH: Strong response to kids vaccine clinics

By

After vaccinating approximately 400 children ages 5-11 at a successful clinic on Sunday and seeing a strong response for its subsequent COVID vaccination dates, the Canton Health Department announced earlier this week that it had created additional slots for its November 19 clinic at the Galvin Middle School (5-7 p.m.) and scheduled a fourth clinic for Tuesday, November 23, from 5-7 p.m. in the CHS cafeteria.

Public Health Director Barbara Reardon reported that the BOH is in a “good spot” in terms of vaccine supply and will continue to schedule more clinics as needed. Additionally, a Moderna booster clinic has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the ballroom at Orchard Cove, 1 Del Pond Drive.
