Klimas, Rita G.

Born in Providence, RI, she was raised in Newport, RI, and attended St. Catherine’s Academy. She was the manager of the Canton High School cafeteria for many years before retiring. She lived in Canton for over 50 years before moving to Stoughton in 1996. Rita enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and in Little Ossipee Lake in Maine.
Beloved wife of the late John V. Mother of John V. Klimas of Maine and Patricia Whitty and her husband, Paul, of Taunton. Sister of Constance Fricot of Providence, RI. Grandmother of Christine Santa, Cheryl Anastasia, Michelle Skeldon, Patrick, Tyler, and Shelby Klimas. Great-grandmother of Ava, Drew, and Camryn Santa, Ethan and Reece Anastasia, Lilah Therrian, and Abby and Cora Skeldon.
