Bowlen, Dorothy
By Canton CitizenDorothy “Dottie” Bowlen, 94, of Canton, formerly of Jamaica Plain, died peacefully November 19, 2021.
Attending Boston schools, Dorothy later graduated from the Wilford Academy for hairdressing. Time spent with family at home and at the beach was most precious to her. Dottie enjoyed going out to eat, watching sailboats, and the challenge of a crossword puzzle.
Daughter of the late Wallace and Annie Martell. Beloved wife of the late William Bowlen. Loving mother of Deborah Crossen and her husband, Paul, of Canton and the late Marie Bowlen. Sister of the late Wallace “Marty” Martell and loving wife of her first husband, John Bowlen. Proud grandmother of Arianne, Alexa and Yvonne Crossen. Loving aunt of Diane Beahm.
Funeral services will be private. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, www.roache-pushard.com.
