Dadasis, Catherine H.
By Canton CitizenCatherine H. Dadasis (Philopoulos) of Canton passed away last week.
Beloved wife of the late Louis N. Dadasis. Loving mother of Marilyn Diamandis, William Dadasis and his wife, Kimberly, and Robert Dadasis and his wife, Christine, all of Canton. Sister of Nicholas Philopoulos of Canton, Jean Vinios of Dover, and the late Angelo and George Philopoulos. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Peter, Christian, Jonathan, Ilia and Stephan Diamandis, Evan, Marisa and Krista Dadasis, and Louis II, Michael, William, and Jason Dadasis; her 10 loving great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Catherine lived a life defined by love of her family, rooted in 50 years of marriage to her soulmate, Louie. She was a vision of style and glamour with a sparkle in her eye that matched her fashion. She exhibited limitless generosity and hospitality to anyone she came across. Catherine was happiest seated at the head of the table at holidays (with a martini in hand) surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, looking on with a proud smile. She was truly loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, and her memory will be celebrated for years to come.
The services will be private due to COVID. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Catherine’s Church in Braintree at stcatherinebraintree.org.
