By Canton CitizenJohn W. Finn Jr., 80, died peacefully November 25 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family.
John was a past member of the Canton Town Club and past president and lifetime honorary member of Wampatuck Golf Course in Canton. He was the former coach of the “Little Blues” Canton Youth Baseball.
Son of the late John W. Finn Sr. and Rose L. Finn (Bitetti). Devoted husband of Judith M. Finn (Histen) of South Dennis. Loving father of John W. Finn III and his wife, Marion, of Scituate and Amie R. Digirolamo and her husband, Greg, of Canton. Brother of the late Richard Finn. Proud grandfather of Elizabeth and Juliet Finn and Jack and Izzy Digirolamo.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday, November 30, in St. Oscar Romero Church (formerly St. John the Evangelist) in Canton. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. If desired, donations may be made in John’s memory to the Canton Town Club Scholarship Fund, 300 Bailey St., Canton, MA 02021.
