Connolly, Eleanor M.

Eleanor M. Connolly (Jenkins) of Canton passed away January 31 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Roslindale, she was raised in Canton and attended Canton High School and graduated from Shaw Prep in Boston. She worked as a teacher’s assistant at Blue Hill Montessori School for 10 years before retiring. Eleanor enjoyed holidays with her family and traveling, especially to Ireland. She also enjoyed taking walks and exploring the local coffee shops.

Beloved wife of John M. Mother of Kate E. Schmidt and her husband, John, of Norwood. Sister of Marsha Bogdanchik and her late husband, Robert Bogdanchik, of Wrentham, Patricia Cavouto and her husband, Frank, of Sarasota, FL, Cheryl Barry and her husband, James, of Boxboro, the late George F. Jenkins, Jr. and his wife, Marla Jenkins, of Canton, and the late William D. Jenkins and his wife, Judy Jenkins, of Dartmouth. Cousin of Diane Hansbury and her husband, William, of Canton.
