CCT’s The Viewing Room premieres March 11
By GuestWhat better way to warm up at the beginning of spring than by laughing, crying, and laughing again at Canton Community Theatre’s upcoming production of The Viewing Room, which opens Friday, March 11. Written by Stoughton native Mark Smith, The Viewing Room brings a family together at a wake after losing its patriarch. It is a peaceful, final goodbye … until the patriarch sits up in his coffin and tries to make amends. This awkward family reunion will leave you laughing in your seats. The cast has described the show as equally funny and moving — and a perfect way to kick off CCT’s 20th anniversary celebration!
Showtimes are Friday and Saturday, March 11-12 and 18-19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 13 and 20 at 4 p.m. Tickets can be ordered in advance at CantonCommunityTheatre.org and can also be purchased at the door. Masks, proof of vaccination, and ID will be required for entry.
Canton Community Theatre is located at the Village Shoppes (between UniQ Laser and Elements Massage), 95 Washington Street in Canton.
Follow CCT on Facebook @Canton Community Theatre for updates about the show and to meet the cast. This will be a viewing you will never forget!
