CHS performers kick off spring with free concerts

CHS musicians rehearse for their upcoming concerts on March 29 and April 1.
Swing into spring with two evenings of music and song put on by Canton High’s talented bands and singing clubs!
The two free concerts will be held on Tuesday, March 29, and Friday, April 1, starting at 7 p.m. in the CHS auditorium at 7.
“On Tuesday, we will feature the Canton High Symphonic Band and Orchestra — plus a special appearance by the Canton High Pops Orchestra,” said Director Brian Thomas. “It will be a show the entire family will enjoy.”
The fun continues on April 1 with performances by the CHS Jazz Band and Chorus, who will also perform several combined pieces. “And that’s not all!” noted Performing Arts Coordinator Catherine Eckersley. “Also on stage will be the lively Canton High Contemporary Music Club as well as the engaging Canton High A Capella Club.”
Grab the kids, grab the grandparents — and don’t forget the neighbors — and enjoy these two evenings of music and song and thrilling entertainment. Support music in Canton — and have a great time doing it!
