Born in Vresthena, Greece. Beloved husband of Georgia (Georgakakis) Giannacopoulos. Devoted father of Stacy Katsikaris and her husband, Paul, Helene Rontiris and her husband, Tommy, and Kostas Giannacopoulos and his wife, Jenny. Cherished pappou of Genna Katsikaris, Stephen Rontiris, Charlie Katsikaris, Andrew Rontiris, Nora Giannacopoulos, and Kate Giannacopoulos. Loving brother of Eva Katsikis and her husband, Mike, and their family. Also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece, Germany and Australia.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 8, in St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Belgrade Ave., Roslindale, MA 02131. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston. Arrangements by Faggas Funeral Home in Watertown.
