By Canton CitizenHarrison Anthony Fitzpatrick, 86, of Canton, died peacefully Monday, June 20, 2022 in his home, surrounded by his children.
Harrison was the proud owner of Fitzpatrick Brothers Auto Body in Dorchester with his brother Fran and son Neale. He was the past president of Canton Youth Hockey, president of the Beacon Society of Boston, and a devoted parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton.
Devoted husband of the late Rosemarie F. Fitzpatrick (Cataldo). Loving father of Mary Beth Fitzpatrick of Morristown, NJ, Susan M. Fountain and her husband, Tim, of Bedford, NH, Harrison Neale Fitzpatrick and his wife, Marybeth, of Easton, and Scott F. Fitzpatrick and his wife, Brenda, of Canton. Loving brother of Thomas Fitzpatrick S.J. of Fairfield, CT, Joseph Fitzpatrick of Las Vegas, Maryann Mazzeo of Centerville, Kathleen Smith of Halifax, and the late Francis X. Fitzpatrick. His grandchildren Christopher and Kimberly Fountain, Harrison A. II and Cameron Fitzpatrick, and Lauren, Jeffrey and Jack Fitzpatrick were the joy of his life.
Harry enjoyed telling stories, get-togethers with friends and family, meeting his friends for breakfast, history, reading and maintaining a beautiful garden. He loved to travel and spend time in Longboat Key, Boothbay Harbor and Waterville Valley. Harry left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Thursday, June 23, from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home followed by interment at Knollwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Old Colony Hospice and Palliative Care of West Bridgewater at www.oldcolonyhospice.org.
