Canton High grad throws out first pitch at Fenway Park

Canton resident and New England sports superfan Noah Sayed had the experience of a lifetime last week as he was invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Boston Red Sox game as part of their “Social Media Night” at Fenway Park on September 1. A frequent Twitter user, Sayed received the invitation — as well as two free tickets to the game — after the Red Sox determined that he had made the most mentions of the team on social media in the past year. “The experience was surreal, one of the most memorable nights I have ever had. said the 2016 CHS graduate. “I was nervous all the way up until I got onto the field. The nerves went away and I just became more excited and grateful that I was given this opportunity.”
