McCarthy, John T.
By Canton CitizenJohn T. McCarthy Jr. of Largo, FL, formerly of Canton, passed away August 18.
Born in Norwood, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School, Class of 1979. He worked for many years at Emerson & Cuming in Canton and more recently as a laborer and painter. He has lived in Largo, FL, for the last 10 years where he was active in the American Legion and VFW Post.
Beloved son of Patricia C. McCarthy of Canton and the late John T. McCarthy Sr. Father of Kelli R. McCarthy of Foxboro. Brother of Rosemarie Cravens of Canton and Richard L. McCarthy of Stoughton. Step-father of Joseph Littig of North Attleboro.
Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, September 17, at 10 a.m. at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Visiting hour on Saturday prior to the service from 9-10 a.m. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
