Canton Co-op announces Pie Day Plus fundraiser
By Canton CitizenIt’s no secret that the economy has made life difficult for many people this year.
Once again, Canton Co-operative Bank will be collecting store-bought pies to help the Canton Food Pantry make Thanksgiving brighter for local individuals and families who are struggling.
The food pantry has also announced that in addition to pies, they especially need boxed/bagged stuffing and canned cranberry sauce.
If you can help, please bring a fresh store-bought pie (or pies), with an ingredient list on the box for food allergy purposes, along with boxed/bagged stuffing and/or canned cranberry sauce into Canton Co-operative Bank at 671 Washington Street on either Friday, November 18, by 5 p.m. or Saturday, November 19, by 12 noon.
If you can’t stop by with a pie or fixings but you would like to help, donations for the food pantry are also being accepted now in the bank lobby.
For more information, contact April McKee at 781-828-8811 ext. 170.
