By Canton CitizenJoyce “Joy” Marilyn Biller-Pirog, 73, of Burlington and Canton, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023.
Daughter of the late Ruth (Feiner) Biller and Benjamin Biller. Beloved mother of Kristyn Terry and her husband, Jeremy; Benjamin Pirog; and Taylor Pirog. Cherished grandmother of Harris and Hannah Terry. Sister of Marjorie Biller; former wife of David Pirog.
Joy was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 6, 1949. She earned a BSW in social work from the University of Buffalo in 1971 and later earned an RN degree from Newton Wellesley Hospital. Her career included nursing in pediatrics and allergy testing. Her hobbies included going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street in Canton, on Sunday, January 15, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joy’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org.
