Anthony “Tony” David King passed away suddenly on January 1, 2023, two days prior to his 59th birthday.

Originally from Leicester, England, he resided in Canton, MA. Tony was a huge Elvis fan all of his life and an expert in all things Elvis. He was also a talented singer, entertainer, photo restorer and creative design artist.

A longtime member of the “True Fans for Elvis Fan Club,” he enjoyed performing yearly at Camp Sunshine and helping to raise money for all of the club charities. Tony was well known in the Elvis world for his expertise, kindness and helpfulness and will be missed by many.

His parents were the late Maureen and Paul King. He leaves behind his partner, Cathi Avenell, sister Annette Dawson, brother-in-law Loki Dawson, brother Adam King, sister-in-law Marilyn King, brother Paul King, sister-in-law Claire King, and three nieces and five nephews. Tony considered himself to be Grampa and P’Pa to Olivia and Hailey Avenell, AJ and Maya Vincent, and Jamey and Jed Hanner.

Tony was a great friend to many and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
