By Canton CitizenMary Helen Grant (Johnson), 100, of Canton, died peacefully January 10, 2023.
Mary was a past volunteer for the Red Cross. She worked as a dental hygienist for the West Roxbury VA and was the former owner of Johnson Dry Cleaners in Canton for many years. She was also a member of the Johnson Sisters Orchestra.
Devoted wife of the late William F. Grant Jr. Loving mother of William F. Grant III and his wife, Catherine, of Canton. Sister of Leo Johnson of Cape Cod and the late Anna Chrappa, Rita Post, and Evelyn Donovan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her beloved grand-dog, Chopper.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday morning, January 17, in Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sharon. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in Mary’s memory to Sunshine Fund c/o Tiffany Michalski at The Residence at Great Woods, 190 Mansfield Ave., Norton, MA 02766.
