Berardi, Gino P.
By Canton CitizenGino P. Berardi, 95, a lifelong resident of Canton, died February 3, 2023.
After graduating from Canton High School in 1945, Gino proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a machinist for Northrop Nortronics. He also worked for many years for Draper Brothers and for the Canton Housing Authority. Gino was widely known as the local repairman, fixing hundreds of people’s appliances. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and scuba diving for lobster.
Devoted husband of Virginia G. Berardi (Daniels) for 65 years. Loving father of Geoffrey P. Berardi of East Falmouth, Glenda G. Fox and her husband, Brent, of Canton, and Gregory P. Berardi of Canton. Brother of Joseph Berardi and his wife, Mary, of Canton, Edward Berardi and his wife, Donna, of Canton, Ann Kirk and her husband, Tom, of Arizona, and the late Daniel Berardi, Frank Berardi, Richard Berardi, Gilda Colp and Robert Berardi. Brother-in-law of Loretta Berardi of Canton and Phyllis Berardi of Weymouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Friday, February 10, from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Brockton VA Medical Center in Gino’s name would be greatly appreciated.
