Re-elect the ‘three C’s’ for library trustees

Dear Editor:

I am writing to wholeheartedly support the following people as Trustees of the Library: Betty Chelmow, Susan Cogliano, and George Comeau. These intelligent and dedicated people have worked tirelessly for the library for decades, attending countless meetings, helping to direct policies for the library, and supporting the staff and director.

It should be noted that all three were instrumental in hiring the current director of the library (this is done by library trustees, and not the town). They also supported the director and staff as they negotiated and continue to deal with the challenging times of serving the public while in the midst of a pandemic.

As the time has come to physically update the library, I know that Betty, Susan, and George will be striving to make our library and its services of the highest quality. I will be casting my vote for the “three C’s,” and I urge you to do the same: Re-elect the three C’s for library trustees.
