Bostic, Judith M.
By Canton CitizenJudith M. Bostic, 67, died peacefully on March 11, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Judith worked in the jewelry industry for many years and was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hanover throughout her life. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend who cherished her time with family.
Judy prided herself on caring for her family and boasting about all of her nieces and nephews. Aunt Judy could always be met with a big smile, warm hug, and witty comments. She was a trusted confidant for many as well as the best person to give advice.
She is the daughter of the late Jessie and Lily Bostic (Lahage). Loving sister of Stanley Bostic of Miami, Florida and William Bostic of Wareham. She is predeceased by her late sister Cheryl Bayliss and late brother James Bostic. Devoted aunt to Beau Bostic of Costa Rica, goddaughter Lauren Spicer, Justin Bostic, Tyler Bostic, and Natalie Bostic, all of Florida, godson Matthew Bayliss of Canton, Joshua Bayliss of Connecticut, Rachel Bayliss of Seekonk, Nicole Johnson of Taunton, and goddaughter Morgan Bostic of Wareham. Judy will forever be missed for her sense of humor, her devotion to family, and her quick ability to make friends.
A funeral was held Saturday at the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, followed by interment at Hanover Cemetery.
