Resident voices concerns with town leadership

During a 15-minute public comment period held at the end of Tuesday’s meeting, a woman who identified herself as a new Canton resident expressed serious concerns about the leadership of the town in light of recent media reports related to the January 2022 death of Boston Police Officer John O’Keefe. The woman said she had moved to the town believing it was “anti-corrupt,” but after reading coverage of the case and allegations by defense attorneys of corruption and a cover-up, she said she no longer feels safe and is distrustful of the Police Department and the town’s elected officials.
