My Sleepover!
By Amelia Yandek
Ding dong! They’re here! Come in, I say. Let’s go set up sleeping bags downstairs. Ok, they said.
Ding dong, more people are here. Yay, I said! Come in, I said. Then we set up beds as more people arrived. And then we played outside and took turns on my hoverboard. And then we ate dinner from stashes and played inside with balloons. And then we opened goody bags and I opened my presents. I said thank you.
Then we made ice cream sundaes for dessert, and then played with the balloons again. And then my parents let me and my friends watch TV so we watched Alexa and Katie. And then we watched more TV. And then my parents said to go to bed, but we did not and they made us turn off the TV but we did not want to. And we were up until 3 a.m. and so were my parents. So they stayed downstairs until we all fell asleep.
In the morning we ate munchkins from Dunkin Donuts, and then we played in the toy room. And then everyone’s parents started to come. I said bye and thank you for coming, and then all of my friends left and my sleepover was over. Then I had fun the rest of the day I played with my sisters. We played all afternoon and we had lunch.
Then we had dinner, we had pork dumplings they were delicious. Then we took showers, brushed teeth and hair and flossed. Then we had 30 minutes to play in our rooms. Then it was bedtime. So we went to bed. We had great dreams. In the morning we were well rested. And we had a good day. Then it was Sunday and we had a good day at school. Then I had a great week. I was so excited for the weekend.
