Feelings
By Penny Stuart
When I am sad, frustrated or mad I go to my room. I like to be alone or with my dog Sandy. I play music, dance or sing and that makes me happy. It helps me get my mind off things. Sometimes I draw or pet Sandy. If I choose to draw, I draw cute stuff like kittens, puppies or bunnies. Drawing calms me. If I choose to pet Sandy, we go on to my fuzzy, cozy bed. I tell her why I’m sad and then I hug her. She always listens to me and Sandy will never be mad at me. Sandy is so soft and adorable. She is the best doggie ever.
If I am at school, I dance or sing by myself. If I choose to dance, I do fast ballet, like high kicks and fast leaps. Dancing helps me get all my bad feelings out and I feel happy. If I choose to sing, I sing about how I am feeling and what I like to do and stuff like that.
When I play sports it makes me feel very HAPPY. I play hockey, dance, gymnastics and softball. My favorite sports are dance and hockey. Skating on the ice I can go really fast and it makes me feel free.
