Canton Wireless Zone holds backpack giveaway

Wireless Zone, a Verizon Wireless retailer located at the Village Shoppes in Canton, held its annual School Rocks Backpack Giveaway event on Sunday, July 30. Staff members distributed over 100 free backpacks filled with school supplies to help kids prepare for the upcoming school year. Since launching the event in 2013, Wireless Zone and its sister company, The Cellular Connection (TCC), have provided more than 1.3 million backpacks with supplies to students across the United States.
