Christine M. Gallery (Passeri), 55, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully at her home in Canton on October 29, 2023, after a 20-year, courageous battle with cancer. She was a beacon of love, courage, and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched.

She was a devoted wife to Richard F. Gallery and a loving mother to Aidan and Ethan Gallery, both of Canton. Born to Roseanne Farrell of NY and Andrew Passeri of NY, Christine was a cherished sibling to Jonathan Passeri of Sudbury and Andrew Passeri and his partner, Yacoub Habib, of NYC. Her warmth and love extended to her several nieces and nephews, who will remember her fondly.

Christine was a proud graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester and Suffolk Law School in Boston. Her academic pursuits laid the foundation for her illustrious career in the healthcare sector, where she made remarkable contributions over 25 years. At the time of her passing, Christine was the senior vice president of planning and chief planning officer of Emerson Hospital. Her extraordinary skills as an attorney and deep understanding of the legal and regulatory issues faced by healthcare organizations made her an invaluable asset.

She was known for her ability to build consensus, think critically about complex situations, and provide creative solutions. Her leadership style was underpinned by collaboration, accountability, respect, and innovation. These qualities were recognized by the Society for Health Care Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD), where she was a longtime member. Christine was honored with the society’s Leadership Excellence Award in 2023, a testament to her significant contributions to healthcare strategy.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Christine shared her knowledge and experience with others by teaching Advanced Health Care Strategies at Emerson College for several years. Despite her professional commitments, she always found time to indulge in her interests. She enjoyed going out for a nice dinner, biking, hiking, and spending time with her family. Her ability to balance her professional life with her personal interests was truly commendable.
